Water injection installation

Jet boat

Water in - Water travels from the jet pump through the gate valve (it looks like a hot water heater valve) to a hollow T-fitting. From there, the T divides the water and dispurses to the front of the motor (where the car water pump would of been).

Water exit - You have two fittings at the thermostat housing. First, take one of the lines (it doesn't matter which one) and connect it to the water pressure T-valve. Next, run the lines from the T-valve to each water injection harness on the header. The other exit line on the thermostat housing is a dump line. It will exit through the transom above the water line.

Make sure it exits above the water line, if it is below the water line you may siphon the water back into the boat when the motor is off and sink it!!!

V-Drive

Thru transom

Water in - Water travels from the jet pump through the gate valve (it looks like a hot water heater valve) to a hollow T-fitting. From there, the T divides the water and dispurses to the front of the motor (where the car water pump would of been).

Water exit - You have two fittings at the thermostat housing. First, take one of the lines (it doesn't matter which one) and connect it to the water pressure T-valve. Next, run the lines from the T-valve to each water injection harness on the header. The other exit line on the thermostat housing is a dump line. Tap into the dump line and run a small hose to each collector. You will now have full time water at the collector so the rubber hose won't burn. Exit through the transom above the water line.

Make sure it exits above the water line, if it is below the water line you may siphon the water back into the boat when the motor is off and sink it!!!
